Where it began
Panjim, 3 June 1989.
Coastal India Constructions opened in Panjim on 3 June 1989. The firm was inaugurated by the Urban Development Minister of the day, J. B. Gonsalves, in the presence of Msgr Alberto Luis, Director of Caritas Goa, and the firm’s proprietor, Blasio Araujo, who leads it today as Director.
It has been a family-owned firm ever since. In the years that followed it has built apartment buildings, private homes, institutional campuses, churches and a hotel across Goa: sometimes as the contractor building to a client’s drawings, sometimes as the developer, and sometimes in partnership with the landowner.
